SEWEL ALA LEAF CURRY


INGREDIENTS

  • Bundle of green immature sewelala leaves
  • Piece of garcinia
  • Chili(kochchi)- 15 pods
  • Chili powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red onion - 05-06 bulbs
  • Curry leaves
  • Pandan leaf - Few pieces
  • Curry powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Salt - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 2 cups

 

Preparation

• Boil piece of garcinia, chili (kochchi), chili powder, turmeric powder, red onion, pandan and curry leaves, curry powder and salt with water
• Add sewelala leaves to the boiling curry
• Sauté the curry adding mustard seeds and dried chili to increase the taste
