WEL ALA KOLA CURRY


INGREDIENTS

  • Bundle of green immature wel ala kola leaves
  • Garcinia - 2 pieces
  • Chili (kochchi)
  • Chili powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red onion - 05-06 bulbs
  • Curry leaves
  • Pandan leaves - Few pieces
  • Curry powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Salt - 1 tablespoon
  • Cup of Water
  • Hand full of coconut milk



 

Preparation


• Cut Wel ala kola leaves to pieces (about half inch)
• Boil garcinia, chili (kochchi), chili powder, turmeric powder, red onion, pandan and curry leaves, curry powder and salt with water
• Add Wel ala kola leaves into the boiling curry
• When the leaves are cooked add coconut milk
• Sauté the curry to increase the taste
