MANIOC TOFFEE


INGREDIENTS

  • Manioc tubers – 500g
  • Sugar – 500g
  • Coconut - 2 cups
  • Salt - One teaspoon
  • Butter
  • Small amount of Cardamom powder



Preparation


• Grate manioc tubers finely
• Wash with hot water and remove water
• Put sugar, coconut milk and small amount of salt in to a pot and boil it
• Add manioc to boiling mixture and cook
• When mixture become thick, add butter and cardamom powder
• Spread the thick mixture on a flat board
• Cut into Rectangular shape pieces
