DANDINA TOFFEE


INGREDIENTS

  • Dandinan tubers- 200g
  • Sugar- 350g
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Margarine – 30g
  • Few cardamom seeds

 

Preparation


• Boil and smash Dandina tubers
• Add sugar and water into a pan and boil to make a thick syrup
• Add smashed Dandina tubers and chopped cardamom seeds into the sugar syrup
• Add margarine and heat until the texture of the mixture become thick enough to cut pieces
• Spread the mixture on a flat board and cut into pieces
